ABOUT ME
DR VICTORIA STRONG
BVSc BSc (Hons) DVetMed AFHEA MRCVS
I am a vet with over 10 years' experience in the veterinary industry and a background in not only clinical practice, but also education and research.
Whether in the classroom, consulting room or presenting at a conference, at the core of every one of my best days at work is veterinary communication.
I thrive when given the chance to communicate my expertise in real-world settings, to inform and engage those who live and work with animals, and empower them to make the best decisions for animal health and wellbeing.
My career journey:
In 2008 I was awarded a First Class BSc in Veterinary Pathology from the Royal Veterinary College, London. I qualified as a vet from the University of Liverpool in 2010 and in 2017, completed a combined clinical and research postgraduate Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVetMed) at the University of Nottingham.
I have worked in education for 7 years. I currently hold the position of Senior Lecturer in Animal and Veterinary Nursing Science at Nottingham Trent University and am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
